After visiting Florida for their Friday Night Lights camp, Lamaar's leader is still Ohio State.

Lamaar talks about his interaction (or lack thereof) with Florida head coach Urban Meyer.

Same thing I heard from an observer at FNL, the coaches rarely talked to him and a lot of the times he just looks bored and lethargic. I'm guessing UF is electing to go after Jeff Demps instead.

Core GPA is usually lower than overall...with those scores, he is already qualified with the NCAA.
I sort of knew that but I guess I was referring to The Ohio State University Admissions Office. A SAT of 860 would not make it past the admissions office. I don't think.

Lamaar says he will announce in September after taking 3 visits...one to tOSU and he is unsure of the others. He says Illinois is in second and tOSU leads but not a big lead.

Hmmmm.....he doesn't know who else he will visit, but whomever they might be..they are on OSU"s heels? :wink2:

We're obviously a bigger lead in his mind than he is letting off. He doesnt know his other 2 visits yet? I couldn't be more confident, but still refrain from calling it a done deal.

I actually know some Maryland fans and I asked them about Thomas. They think the only reason he's comparable to Ginn is because they're both ridiculously fast(Thomas is probably the second fastest recruit in this class after Harry Adams from Florida).

Ginn was a cornerback/wide receiver coming into college, while most of them view Thomas as a running back/wide receiver. They think he should probably get more carries at runningback than Ginn got simply because he has more of a runningback background and because his frame could handle the body blows that a runningback endures better than Ginn or Small could.

He'd probably be more muscular or heavy than either Ginn or Small were when they came into college.
