WR Noah Brown (Washington Commanders)

I don't have premium, but we lead per $Rivals. I also realized in the 11W article that he will decide before season starts...sounds like we could land Brown and Samuel soon to wrap up our WR class. I like it. Bringing in guys like Brown and L. Johnson on the outside really gives us balance down the road when you look at how '13 blends with the '14 class:

Outside-Clark, L. Johnson
Outside-C. Smith, Brown, McLaurin (could be in the slot some too)
Slot-Marshall, D. Wilson, Samuel, Campbell, Lattimore(?)
TE: Baugh, Giesicki(?)

The berrios offer was surprising and arroused interest. But it'd be hard to pass on brown, with his combo of size and speed. He and Samuel should close out our skill position players for this class, IMO

What happens if Brown commits and then Berrios commits? I love Samuel, and I'd hate to see him left out. It's been said elsewhere that Urban Meyer is the lead recruiter for Samuel, so I'd have a hard time seeing him left out.

My guess is that if Brown commits, Berrios no longer has a commitable offer. But who knows.

Scout $ - Brown Planning More Visits

8/5

By Dohn.....Original plan was to decide before his season, but might wait to decide now. Enjoyed his Ohio State visit and talked with Coaches Meyer & Smith about how he'd be used (X Receiver). Plans on visiting Rutgers & Virginia Tech next. Also discusses his interest in South Carolina, North Carolina, USC & Vanderbilt.
