WR Noah Brown (Washington Commanders)

Yet our current WRs compare to Watkins & Bryant, we just don't have the right combination on the field.

I agree Watkins & Brown don't compare right now, but be easy......glass houses & such.

I hear you MD, when I was comparing watkins and Bryant, u wasn't talking about true frosh, but yes we don't have guys of that caliber (few do) yet. Im not knocking brown at all, I think he's a future talent, and compares to Robinson from penn st like taosman stated. Watkins was an all conference/all American in his first year. Do you believe noah can do the same? I personally doubt it

I don't see it either, hence saying they don't compare.

Chill out, man. You don't have to cut people for hoping that he will be a great receiver.

No cutting down was meant. Just trying to be a little realistic. Watkins is a player that turns around programs from day 1, noah may eventually do that, but not from day 1. Not knocking noah or what you said, but watkins is seriously that good! Go back abd check out his frosh stats and highlights and you'll see what I mean

I did not say anything about day 1 nor intent to for any newcomers including those great CBs and LBs that are coming in...just hoping that he would be a great one like Watkins...day 1 that would be nice though :-)

My mind can't handle what I just read. Maybe it's that it's early, but my brain refuses to believe my eyes. Did pnuts just say that he was trying to be realistic? I'm at a loss for snark right now...

I wonder with his size and athleticism, if the coaches keep him at WR or put him at TE/H back. He could have an early impact at TE with the Marcus Baugh situation and it's not like he needs to gain a lot more weight (15+ lbs).

Noah would be interesting at H if they drew up some stuff for him...I loved how Oregon used Colt Lyerla in 2012 before he fell off the wagon. They'd line him up at H, tight as a TE, flexed wide, wherever. Granted, he had a legit 2 inches/20 pounds on Brown, but it was refreshing to see some creativity.

I thought I remembered Hernandez getting carries at UF, but a quick check shows he had just one rush in his career. Maybe I'm recalling a TE screen or two?

Probably thinking of the shovel option. Essentially a handoff, but technically flipping it forward about a yard for a "pass." But yes, I could see Noah thriving in that role.
