WR Noah Brown (Washington Commanders)

Idk why rutgers fan would be so angry. They're Rutgers!!! They've already recruited higher than they should in getting blacknall and Hillman, and a few others. They're getting a little cocky if they think that they'll get a majority of the NJ, tri state, new England talent.
Osu is getting a stud in brown, I can see the anquan boldin comparisons, he's just a big WR who snatches the ball out of the air, can win jump balls, and has good enough speed in the college game to be able to burn a number of opposing DBs(especially in the big 10). He, Lonnie Johnson, terry mclaurin, Curtis Samuel and possibly parris Campbell make up a stellar WR compared to any in the nation

Lol.. True, but Rutger's fan thinks they will compete for B1G title next year cause Braxton is a Senior this season.. OMG!!!!:lol::lol:

Being completely aware of Rutgers.. and following the pgm... no Rutgers fan is anything but nervous and hoping to not get completely embarrassed in B1G for years to come... they play a very entertaining brand of ball... they are fun to watch... and they have very good athletes... but they are generally much smaller than normal B1G... they have home run hitters at the skill positions... and all 11 defenders meet at the tackling pile...

They wanted Brown... they are a great fit for Brown... they just don't happen to be tOSU... which is what Brown wanted... I highly suspect Rutgers was his #2... he would have been awesome there... and he's gonna be awesome here...

Think of how angry we were when Anthony Davis chose them...

I hear what you're saying, and though he may have done great there I don't see why he wouldn't do even better in s&g. We have qbs in place foe the future, and he can be part of a nucleus of skill position players that will be playing at a high level on a national scale. Rutgers isn't offering much of that, and that's not even mentioning that he'll be playing in conference championships and bcs playoffs almost yearly. Imo, rutgers offered a close distance and a POSSIBILITY to compete against the big boys, osu offers much more.

Noah Brown, a four-star athlete in the 2014 recruiting class, committed to Ohio State last week.
He's a good-looking 6-foot-2, 215-pound athlete with versatility. Brown can out-muscle defensive backs and employs big, sticky hands. It will be interesting to see how Urban Meyer uses him; Brown's frame has room to add bulk, so he could become a hybrid tight end who causes matchup nightmares similar to a former Meyer TE at Florida who now lives in a jail cell. Brown has good speed (and character!), though, so Meyer may elect to mold him into a jumbo outside weapon. For that to happen, Brown is going to have to clean up his sloppy route running. "He's one of those rare breeds where he's a big, strong, physical guy," Brown's high school coach Brian Carlson said. "But he can play in space. He's still growing. We haven't seen a guy yet that can take him down." Sep 17

Is he pure WR when he arrives?

I would say so. An outside WR, we need some size there It would seem like he'd be a RB from his film, but that's due to need on his HS team. His leaping ability, and size make him such a mismatch on the outside. I don't even care about missing on Derek Kief after getting Noah, he's such a talent. Good speed, but great hands, and great leaping ability.
