Something seems a bit fishy here. Maybe it is the Kentucky coaches showing Mr. Blue the depth chart for WR, pretty young, mostly sophomores, and showing him how he'd be 'buried' on the depth chart, or something as simple as his nickname "Blue" would fit better in Kentucky's color scheme than tOSU's scarlet & gray colors. Hard to tell. If I'd ever had the chance, I'd have looked real hard at whether I'd ride the pine at one school, versus getting playing time early at the other school. Hard choice to make today, let alone as an 18 year old. Anyway, it's always Go Bucks, and Urb & Co will deal the cards that they're played, although you cannot blame them for trying to rig the deck in their favor......
It's typical of a prospect to go silent in the days leading up to a decision, but this is a little different. I've witnessed as the 6-foot-6, 210-pound Smith has received a number of derogatory messages in the last few days and weeks — some even racially charged — from both Ohio State and Kentucky fans, and that is absoulely, 100 percent unacceptable.
“That's why I'm taking this little break,” Smith told Eleven Warriors. “Man, it's crazy, but I'll get used to it.”
I don't blame him at all for taking some time away, but I'm also saddened by the fact that he feels the need to do so. Blue is a great kid, an it's hard to believe that grown adults — or I should say 'adult-aged children' — have made such statements simply because he may not choose their favorite school.
It's sickening.
I feel bad for the banana... I mean can someone at least have him do some interval training to get a break? Dudes gonna be one sad banana if he keeps crushing the treadmill like he's been the past 5 years.I still would keep the treadmill running

Oh and another 6 foot 4+ WR... I am so glad to see us going away from the 5 foot 10 RB hybrids. Boy if we can stress a team 53 yards by 100 and also vertically above the field then no where is safe.
We have a stable of QBs and Rbs that are under 6'4" that can do the job. We need these big WRS not just because they can stress a defense in different ways but because they're also normally better run blockersI don't think going just for tall receivers is the answer either. You need a balance. Both create mismatches and stress defenses.
Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham, Jr., Tyreek Hill, Jarvis Landry, Julian Edelman, all under 6 feet tall. So not a good argument.I'll take fast and tall over fast and short.
