4. WR, Jameson Williams, Saint Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter Prep- Williams makes our list for the second day in a row. Williams has not just good speed but elite speed and has the kind of second gear that few players have. You can be even with him and then he has has the ability to separate when the ball is in the air. What impressed us and what he showed today is he’s a high level route runner and does a nice job setting up an opposing corner. The Ohio State signee has had a really good week.
"high level route runner" really sticks out when you hear he's on a field of other all americans and no one can keep up with as it is, but then you add that in and it's actually unfair. Maybe he gets bumped up to the 50-60 range in the last rankings?
The one thing we know about playing as a freshman... you have to have game changing abilities in someway.A little surprised to hear his route running has been so impressive...maybe he improved that in his senior year or I was just too mesmerized by his speed to notice, but that is an awfully dangerous combination. We already knew he had elite speed but if he has the route running and intangible receiver skills, look out...might get on the field if that is the case.
