Is this a fact or your opinion?

He's not coming back, either.
Anyone knows how Cris feels about it? Obviously he is going to take his kid's side, but is he still going to be a big supporter or does he have bitterness that the school didn't do enough to the point where he is going to distance himself a bit? Both?

I'm sure Duron knew he wasint working hard enough. And ive heard duron has a learning disability, but i'm sure hes not the first guy who had trouble in school. Maybe he shoulda stopped complaning on his twitter about how boring class was, and just paid attention...
http://eye-on-collegefootball.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/24156338/28127498Given that he's the son of NFL wide receiver Cris Carter, Duron Carter garnered quite a bit of attention when he committed to Ohio State out of high school. His first year in Columbus didn't exactly blow anybody away, as he only had 13 receptions and 1 touchdown. Equally unimpressive were Duron's grades, and he left the school for junior college last season. The original plan had been for Carter to get his grades in order and return to Columbus, but that's no longer in the cards.
Now the word is that Carter could be back on a BCS campus this season with Alabama. A report at al.com says that Alabama has an inside track to land Duron, and according to his father, it's because of the man calling the shots in Tuscaloosa.
"The head coach is as good as it gets," said Cris Carter. "They have structure. Nick Saban provides the kind of environment you look for. There is no better teacher in the game than Nick and his staff. We like the fact that they run a pro style offense. They have a need at the receiver position. They don't have a [big, physical] receiver like Duron right now."
Of course, this doesn't mean that Duron is going to end up with the Tide. He's also made trips to visit LSU and Miami.
At Coffeyville Community College in Kansas last season, Carter caught 44 passes for 690 yards and 10 touchdowns in nine games.

I would have thought CC would be pushing him to try and go back to osu and finish what he started.
If he goes back to OSU, he doesn't come back with a clean academic record, iirc. At other places he gets a clean slate.http://eye-on-collegefootball.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/24156338/28127498

Duron Carter to transfer to Alabama
Former Ohio State wide receiver Duron Carter committed to transfer to Alabama on Saturday, his father, Cris Carter, said.
"We just met with Coach [Nick] Saban and he's committed," Cris Carter said. "It's a combination of the coaching and the structure and for Duron's maturity. All of those things make it a good match."
Duron Carter will graduate from Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College in May and will enroll at Alabama in June to be eligible to play this season, Cris Carter said.
