Love how the coaches got him involved in the short and intermediate game. He's open all the time. This reciever depth and talent is really starting to show, other than a few miscues by Dontre. The recievers as a whole created great seperation and that they pushing each other extremely hard in the reciever room. Hard to not find a mismatch with a 3 wide of Smith, Thomas and Marshall.
The MSU game was probably the best of Smith's career. Smith's problem is that he's never been a complete receiver, but for some reason he was last night. He has become a consistent receiver, while retaining his deep threat ability. Tonight was a showcase of that but he also proved he can be a complete receiver over the course of the season. Great job Devin, keep it up!

Game momentum seemed to turn on the 3rd and forever catch he had for the first down. We still had work to do to catch up, but that changed momentum (at least in my mind).
