lol how true... I forgot how after every sanzo catch I wondered if he was dead.He hasn't been blown up catching the ball with a strange tendency to land on his head enough for that yet.
Yeah but that's natural and non offensive to me. I mean, if I'm gonna compare Marvin Gaye to anyone.....well wait a minute. I don't compare him to anyone. Hahahaha.Just as long as all of the comparisons are white dudes.
I guess Santonio Holmes? Bess from Hawaii?Just as long as all of the comparisons are white dudes.
yeah I got that too... goes on to say that CJ understand things like spacing and the such that most don't (then pointed out KJ Hill is like that). If he possesses skills that most don't and has good reliable hands why not play him? I think it was Carpenter on 97.1 said exactly what you said which is CJ has been playing small his whole life and CJ can take the rigors of college football. Besides I doubt he's much "weaker" then Johnny Dixon or Terry if at all.Ouch. Coach basically said he's too small to play and wont see the field against "real" competition. Gave him all kinds of compliments like "he's tough" "he's smart" "he works hard" etc. Then he says, he just needs to get bigger and stronger.
Don't love this to be honest. If a guy can make plays, why does it matter what his size and weight is? Feels like coach is negating his ability a bit. Have to listen to the whole thing again I guess.
This is perplexing to me as well.. Kind of gets me thinking about how we recruit as well. We tend to ignore many recruits I feel who aren't the 4 star or 5 star types and is it possible that even our staff is caught up in the dick measuring competition that is recruiting rankings or in this case measurables?
Give me CJ all day over Dontre Wilson..If you're good you're good
Well right its easy to say that now... but similar structure at any rate.Hindsight is an advantage nobody has in the recruiting process and when these guys were in HS not a single person in the football world would make that statement. But, I do agree that having a day like Saunders had should earn him additional opportunities, regardless of his measurables.
That's a bit of a stretch. Wilson was a pretty good player when healthy. CJ has only seen action in garbage timeI guess Santonio Holmes? Bess from Hawaii?
