No idea but why don't you get some ducks in a row before you start throwing out accusations...becoming a trend with you lately.. Think, verify...then speak.

I said I think. I did a search but for some reason couldn't find the thread until jwinslow provided it. Not like I was trying to tarnish a good name.

Whatever.........Look, I don't know if AG is white/hispanic. He just reminds me of a Steve Largent type of receiver. Intelligent guy on and off the field, not the biggest or fastest guy on the field, but always dependable. He finds ways to get open and is always coming up with the big play. He will be one of the great finds in the draft.........hopefully the 2008 draft.

Anyone else see Gonzo as a Steve Largent type receiver?
I'm old enough to remember watching Largent for most of his career and I think Gonzo compares favorably, which is saying a lot since Largent is a Hall of Famer. But to be honest, I've never seen anyone who plays like Gonzo. He is the only exception I know of to the old rule about not running before you catch the ball. He does it all the time, and does it well.

As for the comparison to other "white receivers", keep in mind that they weren't nearly as uncommon back in the 70's as they are now.

Lack of size, and playing predominantly in the slot will keep him out of the first round.

The only good reason Gonzo wouldn't be first round is the fact that he is "only" six feet tall.

He also did very little PR and KR work, which is something rookie receivers earn their stripes with.

Beyond that, if you were looking for someone to be a Bilentnikoff clone (as in Freddie, not in "the award") then it is Gonzo.

Hey if he goes it will be hard to argue with.

I am just curious if anyone even watches the NFL anymore. His size? Are you gus serious?

Gonzo is 6'0" 190 and runs 4.3-4.4......they say he outruns TGII in the 40.

Off the top of my head, the best WRs in the NFL are damn near the exact same size as Gonzo, or smaller....Harrison, Holt, S. Smith, C. Johnson, Moss, Coles, Glenn, Galloway...there are more, but I am getting reasy to get drunk, so you gus can do the research.
