2007 vs UF. Been mentioned by a few people already.

1998 vs MSU Been mentioned by a few people already.

1980 Rose Bowl- Wasn't old enough to remember the '69 NC. Bucks were a huge pleasant surprise in Earle's first year and ranked #1. Bucks led by 6 with 10 minutes remaining in the 4th. I can still see Charles White breaking a big one on USC's winning TD drive.

1982 Wisconsin- Bucks lost home game 6-0. Wisc scored on their first drive, game over. Sat in the South Stands in the rain until the bitter end and listened to the Wisconisin marching band play the "Budweiser song" (When you say Wis-con-sin you've said it all) incessently. Brutal. A lot like "Darkest Day" when IU smashed us at home with their power running game.

2000 Minnesota- #5 Bucks get dominated at home by Gophers. The "U" made all the plays. Seem to remember Nate Clements getting continually burned.

I wasn't even going to respond to your worst times, as if you need some sort of relief, but wasn't it also Nate Clements who had an errant punt bounce off of him to jump-start the MSU comeback? Sticks to me, let me know if I'lm wrong on that, seems like I'm not...I've been a huge Clements fan since he went pro, but I swear that was him....

There have been a sea of disappointing losses over the years, but the one that will haunt me till the day I die was 1974 at MSU. That night on his TV show, Coach Hayes proclaimed the 1974 as the "greatest team" he ever had. A last second loss to USC in the Rose Bowl turned this exceptional bunch into nothing more that one of the greatest "2 loss" teams we ever had here. If you look back at the top to bottom talent on that team, they are probably one of the 5 best we ever had.

It was Clements (a freshman in '98) that the punt bounced off - the score was 24-9 tOSU at the time.

1) the entire 99' season, it was abysmal to say the least.

2) 2003 Season losing @ Wisconsin in the rain, Lee Evans burning Chris Gamble on the wheel route, first loss since Outback bowl against SC.

3) @Purdue (forgot what year) the Drew Brees show, enough said.

4) 2004 season losing @ Iowa, most overwhelmed game ever, ive never seen a more dominating performance against a tressel team, thus why we spanked them just as bad at the 'shoe the following season.

5) seeing Justin Zwick come out for final series of Texas game in 05' and fumbling, broke countless objects in home in anger.

6) Tamba Hali's sack causing fumble against Penn St. 2005 season, Troy was about to lead us down the field for the tie on our last possesion.

Another overlooked one was the 2003 Michigan game. I believe we were BCS number two prior to that game, which caused quite the controversy with LSU and USC fans. If Clarett had come back that year, things could have been different.

The 2005 Texas game was also horrendous, slipped right out of our hands. That team was so talented too, they should have won it all.

For me it was not a specific game or play but during the Cooper years, every Sunday after a loss to TSUN, a kid (around 18 yrs old) who would visit my church periodically, would ALWAY'S show up in his Meeeeechigan jersey and be grinning from ear to ear all throughout my sermon/message. His only reason for being in church that particular day (he lived about 30 miles away) was to rub it in. I live in Calif.

So here I am, a diehard Buckeye fan, trying to teach from the Bible AND at the same time trying not to be irked by this guy, who I know was only there to talk smack. Ofcourse, as soon as the service was over he would run to the stage, not for prayer or counsel, but to ask me if I "saw the game yesterday." Fortunately, I would suck it up every year, smile and compliment him on his teams victory.

Anyway, I was at that church for 16 yrs. and on my last Sunday they had a going away service where people in the congregation would get up and say something that they appreciated about me and/or my wife.

Guess who shows up? Yep. You got it.

Interestingly enough though, he actually got up to speak, then broke down and just started sobbing and couldn't say a word. I guess all those Sunday's I thought he was there to rub it in, that he was also actually listening to the message as well.

It taught me a valuable lesson. We never know the impact we can have on people's lifes. Even the one's who sometimes rub us the wrong way.

Go Bucks!

My most disappointing play would have to be one I was there to see. It was the Texas game. I was behind the end zone where the Buckeyes last got the ball, when it was 23-22. I believed in my heart of hearts that we would still win that game. This is THE Ohio State University, after all. Arrogant, I know, but the feeling didn't leave me until about a half-second into the play. Troy Smith sacked in the end zone, safety. Ball game. :(
