For whatever reason, people come to Huber Heights to make their pizza business a reality. (evidently we REALLY like pizza here..)

If I had to choose an area pizza joint that just isn't good, I'd have to say Campioni's Pizza (now known simply as C's Pizza). Had them back when they first opened (8ish years ago), wasn't impressed. Had friends raving about them recently, so I gave it another go... Still not impressed. Same ol over cooked shit.

Favorite area pizza place (since Giordano's is in Chicago) would be The Flying Pizza (across from Wright State's campus). There's also one in Columbus. If you haven't had it yet, I highly recommend. Hand tossed dough (right in front of you), fresh ingredients, great tasting pizza.

And now I feel like a walking Papa John's advertisement.

Papa Johns is fucking nasty. I would gladly order Domino's before Papa Johns or Pizza Hut.

Being in Chicago, we are definitely not short on pizza places. I notice some are mentioning Giordano's, I am not a fan of that place at all. There are 3 places in Chicago I would consider the best; Lou Malnati's, Pequods and D'Agostinos.

Lou's was choice number 2 when we went. Surprised you don't like Giordano's. Not a fan of the 3 pounds of cheese they pile onto those bad boys?

I can't believe I'm the only one to mention East of Chicago. Were you all smart enough to avoid it completely?

I'd take Pizza Hut twice any day and three times on Sunday over East of.

Back when they still relatively new (to the area at least), their pizza wasn't horrible... Wasn't great either.

I remember they used to have a Taco pizza... Literally diarrhea on top of pizza dough.

Cincinnati is dominated by LaRossa's - way too sweet for my taste. But we also have an excellent small local - Dewey's - hand tossed, lots of varieties, excellent salads and a great beer list. Shouldn't be on this thread so close to dinner time.

Donatos is my favorite chain, everytime I come up to Ohio I make sure to have 2 things

1)Skyline
2)Donatos

Donatos!? Are you @$%ing &^%ing me? The first time I ordered that pizza I was so pissed off when it arrived. Really thin crust and cut into squares? Get outta here. Being from the Youngstown area, we have some really great pizza up here and this was just shit.

Dewey's isn't only in Cincinnati.

Agree that I love Donatos, and Pizza King here in Indiana does the square cut as well. I wish we had Donatos over here (I've seen a ready to bake Donatos packaged pizza in the Walmart deli area, but I don't trust it).
