Absolute blasphemy. Every time I make it back to Ohio, I have to have DiCarlos and DeFelice Pizza.

DiCarlos will overnight ship pizza now...DeFelice is working on it.

I think I may prefer Carlini's in shadyside and Powhatan, but it's pretty similar to Dicarlos.

So you'd have better choices for pizza than the Hut, Dominos or Papa Johns?

I've had better options than that everywhere I've lived.

Having (arguably) slightly better pizza is not worth having to listen to fat, ignorant, gold chain bedecked & loud mouthed grease balls yammering constantly about how the tap water in NY is the best in the world (it isn't), how the Yankees are important, or any of the other countless inane topics they never shut up about.

Buy a stone & a peel and make your own, it isn't hard.

When my wife's father was still alive (an old Brooklynite) he used to visit his sister in Del Rey Beach Florida. He used to always try to book a flight which he didn't have to take a connection with a flight originating out of New York for that very reason.

I actually think the worst pizza that I've ever had was some joint across the street from Disneyland. It tasted like cardboard with ketchup and cheap bologna. I got wings too which tasted like they had been cooked from raw in a microwave with no seasoning what so ever and dipped into a tasteless, reddish sauce.

Simmer Down, Henry Hill.
