Obi Won ka Roby saved the game right there. Kept his composure. Didn't give up because he missed the ball over his shoulder. Made a smart play, even though being ridiculed by Bret Miskinmit.

I personally think NW is second best but it's more of a style match thing.
Anyway, you know who should have been watching that game and not liking it? scUM.
Scheme wise Wisky does everything scUM does, only better. A LOT better.

Buckeye fans got what we dreamed for. Aggressive, pressure defense. No one runs it down our throat. Man a mano in the secondary. Offense was wild and crazy to start. Few penalties. Got a big lead. Locked it down with hang on sloopy. That is how buckeye football is played.

If the defense makes the two or three picks they dropped, Hyde puts his head down and plows for a first on the 4th down and in the 4th with about 4 to go where he runs out of bounds a yd short this game is much more lopsided.

It's crazy when you think about it.
They basically lined up dropped 8-9 in the box, shut down the Wisky run game, put a future NFL DB on Wisky's ONLY WR and dared Wisky to win by throwing the ball.
Wisky gets 10 catches and 200+ yards out of that fucker and its still a 17 point game going into the 4th quarter.
I said it before but other than Abewhatchamafuck going insane, the most shocking thing to me in that game was the OSU offense not scoring more in the second half with all those short fields.

It seemed like we were either going to run for a whole series or pass for a whole series. The mix of plays in the second half with the field position was befuddling.

I rhink we may have respected the run to much..or didn't disguise our coverages very well..it seemed Stave and the OC found the weakness every time.

I don't yet have something in place that allows people to filter more than Mark May. So while I won't ask that people avoid any and all off-color words entirely, what I will ask is that we drop the gratuitous use of the pumpkin (see youra6's post immediately after mine) -- it's being used for the sake of being used, just because we can, and that's not great for all.
The alternative (until I can find custom code to make it an option) is that I hard rewrite Carlin's words for everyone, and that's not an ideal solution. So for the time being, let's be a little more judicious at least in the high traffic core content threads (like game threads, player threads, etc.).
Not asking mods to step in the way we do in the recruiting forum, but when it's every other post for nearly an entire page (8 of 15 for the previous page), we have an issue.
This is purely a matter of me just not having a code solution for the issue yet, the way we did on the old software. So help me out for the time being. And to be extra clear -- it's the gratuitous use I'm talking about, not the use. It's one thing if you're adding meaningful emphasis, it's another if you're just using it because we don't filter it.
