Game Thread Wisconsin at tOSU, Sep 28th, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

told a lot of people this wasn't gonna be a blow out so guys on yahoo thought osu would win by 40 to 50 points .

So you had Stave/Aberjmathefuck torching Roby that badly all along?

That's the only thing that kept the game even remotely close, so if you were telling people that was going to happen I am impressed.

Just read that the Wisky fans (being the classy 'expletive' that they are) tried to get a cheer going to 'expletive' with Carmen Ohio post game.

That's not the first time.

Trashiest fans/program in the B1G and Bert is long gone, I'm saying it again for the umpeenth million time its Alvarez. He's the Don Corleone of Douche in that place.
Getting away from throwing batteries at opposing fans, or cussing out little girls in cheerleader outfits takes a lifetime of fan cleansing...

For my part (I predicted a 4 point OSU win earlier this thread), it wasn't so much that Stave/Abergastrointeritis would torch Roby per se, it's just that every time they play a seemingly outmatched Wisconsin team, the games are always much closer than they should be on paper.

Just keep winning.

17-0 under Meyer.

This team plays very much like Floyd Mayweather boxes - get ahead early and do enough throughout the rest of the game to win. It's not exciting, there is rarely if ever a killshot, but it works.

Wiscy QBs who seemingly can't hit the broad side of a barn the rest of the season, seem to have career days against us....

Well I guess it the semantics of "closer than it should be on paper" then.

If you go by a Vegas line that isn't true. OSU is now 5-1-1 against the spread vs Wisky since 2007.

I'm like you sometimes those feel closer than we'd like but that game last night was an ass beating waiting to happen that never did.

actually the way I figured Wisconsin has played osu close for the last few years ,btw my yahoo pick 'ems went 19-5 this week for the year 118-32

Last night was a push, where is that in those magical Yahoo pick em numbers?

Let me guess you got Wisky at +7.5?

BTW see my earlier post about the "past few years". You'd think a guy who can pick 80% winners would know that, by the spread, Wisky vs OSU has been a losing bet every year except 2010.

That is the change that I have seen in Meyer from Florida..or he has lost confidence in his D and just doesn't want the O to make a mistake and give up a short field.

I'm with you. I've been thing a lot about this one, probably because I saw so much of Meyer at UF in their glory days.

It has to be the confidence in the defense because he was known to be a "style point carer" is you will. To put a finer point on it, he was know to unmercifully run the score up against anyone he could.

I think last night he was shaken by the way Wisky could hurt us passing and channeled his inner sweater vest. I'm fine with it and happy with the win but other than Roby getting sodomized on live TV, Urban buttoning it up was the biggest surprise of the night for me.
