I was asked if that was the greatest game I've ever been to. 2006 Michigan game was better, just because it was Michigan. 2009 Iowa was close, but this game was better. LSU in 1988, but that was just LSU - not a big rival with Ohio State. What better home games have there been since 1986?

I was stringing for a newspaper during the 1974 Michigan game. Wide right!

So excited during the first half that I forgot to take many photos. I'd used only two rolls when I normally would have gone through 6 to 8.

Huge upset and it followed a smart ass comment from Dennis Franklin. Asked if all Ohio athletes went to Michigan, he popped off, "Only the best ones."

Give the guy credit, he's an excellent receiver. Ball's a hell of a back and Wilson is the best QB the bucks have faced this year, or possibly will face.

In fact give the whole Wisconsin team credit. They put a good deal of talent on the field and they played hard for the entire game. That to me is what makes it a great win; the Buckeyes had to beat a great Badger team and they did. Something to be proud of.

I had to listen to it 3 more times until I was sure. Sure nuf, "Holy [Mark May]!"

...and I sat down we replayed it a few times and the first thing I thought was "did he just say HOLY SHIT on air?" and after the 2nd/3rd time I came to that conclusion.

That's Todd Blackledge. I didn't notice it live, but checking the Youtube vid it sounds like he cut off the "shit"...more like "Holy sh!" Still cool, though...
