Game Thread Wisconsin at tOSU, Oct 29th, 8 pm ET, ESPN

Still get chills when I think of the deep ball to Smith. When it first left his hand I thought for sure pick...then looked downfield and just about ripped my buddy's arm off screaming 'HE'S OPEN!!!' and then the stadium just erupted. Great game and I cant wait to see this group of guys grow the rest of the season. Love to see a group persevere through difficult times and be rewarded. Cheers to the rest of the season! :osu:

One word to sum up last night.......WOW.

Simply the GREATEST sporting event that I have attended. Seeing us beat the hell out of M*ch*g*n last year was amazing, but to beat Wisconsin the way we did and to experience it live was UNBELIEVABLE. As JWins can attest, I mentioned that I couldn't imagine the emotion that a player goes through when they're standing on that field with 105k+ screaming their heads off...well...there may not of been 105k people left in the stands after the game (because about half were on the field), but being on that field was absolutely amazing. Definitely a 'dream' of mine that can be crossed off my list & I can't imagine that being topped. I'm still in shock & can't get the grin off my face. LET'S GO BUCKS!!!!

It is beyond understanding what your dbs were doing. In that scenario all that they have to have on their minds is two things:

1) do not let the receiver get behind you;

2) if it looks even remotely like a pass could be caught, foul the hell out of the receiver to ensure that it is not a TD.

If they do that, then it is tOSU ball on the 25 with 20 seconds and no time outs left. No guarantee of a win, but a difficult situation for Miller, none the less.

Ohio State still had a timeout left. They began the last drive with two and only used one.

Speaking of timeouts. For the second straight week Bielema used timeouts when he didn't have to use them and left time on the clock for his opponent to win the game.

Thanks Bret!

This Bud's for you!
It wasn't as egregious as last week. He took the last one with 2:49 left. You could say he left too much time on the clock, but the quick strike to Abbrederis actually hurt more than anything.

One of the guys doing the game immediately pointed out his earlier observation that Miller kept looking down field while running, looking to make a play with his arm while on the run - instead of just running for his life. As soon as the TD happened he gave props to Brax for his field vision while effectively scrambling.

I return you to your regularly scheduled Buckeye paranoia. :p

Next on Ripley's Believe It Or Not, we'll investigate stories of college students living in Ohio Stadium and calling it a dorm. :wink:

True enough... When I heard it I was a bit taken back by the voracity of the comments.

Gotcha. Well, then that is an assured two plays from the 25, depending on what was called, and if it went ten yards, and if the ball carrier went out of bounds, and if a pass was incomplete.

Still, I'd rather be on the 25 with 20 seconds left than let a catch in the endzone lose the game. I'd still foul the [Mark May] out of the receiver if it looked like a catch-able ball.
