Frustrating loss, to say the least.
1. Bielema needs to swallow his pride and hire a special teams coordinator instead of coaching the unit himself. Two blocked punts in a week is inexcusable. And neither was really even close.

Had no idea that this was part of his responsibility. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy for some reason.

2. Wilson is now 0-7 on the road in his career in stadiums over 65k. I'm starting to doubt his ability as a big-game quarterback. That scares me for a bowl game.
3. I said it coming into the game: if Ohio State could run off the edges, they'd have success. Voila.
4. Braxton Miller is going to be scary-good in the coming years. I can already tell. As someone mentioned before, that reminded me of TP's coming-out party in 2008.
5. I hate being in the position of needing other teams to lose, but when you're not mentally sharp in this conference week in and week out, that's the spot you find yourself in.
6. My confidence in this team is extremely shaken. Maybe Wisconsin fans bought into Wilson too much, or maybe it's plastering Northeast Baptist Bible Belt Marantha Technical College every week isn't as helpful as one might think in preparing for the meat of the Big Ten schedule.
7. Luke Fickell clutched up. Signature win if I've ever seen one.

Good luck the rest of the year.

Are you sure you're a Wisconsin fan?

Yeah. But this team has been exposed. They lost a ton of talent from last year, and the coaching has been subpar thus far. No use in continuing to drink the Kool-Aid when you're clearly not as good as once thought.

How in the world did you have the ball for 11 minutes in the 2nd and only get 3 points? :shake:

Really? You need to ask?

Just got home from C-bus. WOW!! Great atmosphere. Great game (could have done without the cardiac arrest moments at the end). AND BUCKY WENT DOWN!!!!!

Listening to Stanley Jackson on the post game show, I can only echo his sentiments. Many of the callers were picking apart everything that didn't go perfectly. He reminded everyone that we had just won a game against a very tough opponent when we were supposed to be the underdog. We should be celebrating! He also said the loss couldn't have happened to a nicer guy (named Bielema by name). Hard to disagree with that sentiment.

I'm now 3-0 for games I've seen this year in person. Already have tickets for IU and PSU to get the streak to 5 for this year. Anyone have an extra ticket for TSUN to make it 6-0? :)

I've heard an awful lot of folks talk about Wilson not being a big game player and folding in the big ones. But the kid had a pretty good game if you ask me. 20/32 for 253 yds and 3 TDs with no INTs. I think the running game let you down more than Wilson and of course the mental breakdown in the secondary that allowed the Buckeye game winner. That certainly wasn't Wilson's fault.

I'm just curious why so many folks seem to think the QB is the one to blame for these Wisky losses.

I'm not putting the loss solely on him by any means, and maybe I'm nitpicking, but he tends to panic a bit when the pocket collapses around him. When he doesn't scramble (which is his best option) he either A) throws it out of bounds when still in the tackle box or B) sits and sits and sits until someone is wide open, often leading to a sack.

The running game wasn't successful because OSU got a good push up front and Paul Chryst tried to run it wide too often. Doing that opens up holes for backside pursuit, which OSU took advantage of last night. Wisconsin's bread and butter is running between the tackles, and for some reason, they got away from it last night.
