Game Thread Wisconsin 13, tOSU 31 (Oct 10, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN)

My grandfather passed away as a result of a heart attack suffered during the 1984 loss to Wisconsin.

I have been waiting 25 years to see the Buckeyes put a colossal beat-down on the stinkin' badgers when they expect to compete. And I will be there for this game - my one day in the 'Shoe for 2009.

To say that I'm hoping for a completely non-competitive prison raping would be an understatement.

Word association game: Wisconsin. What? Passing? The part where the QB hurls the ball to another player as a means of advancing it up the field?

They're ranked 19th in passing efficiency, having attempted 131 passes (completing 86 of them for 65.7% completion). All the more reason to get at their QB... but does that mean they run screens to their RB's? Beat's me. I don't much about football - that makes me just as qualified as Bret Bielema! Heyoooo!

SOOOOOOO....I need some help.

Anyone know of a good Buckeye bar in or near St. Augustine, Florida? That's right, I'll be forced to watch the Wisconsin game 2 hours east of Gainesville and I really don't feel like getting punched in the face by some classy Gator fans. Figured I'd plan in advance so I don't stroll into the local Gators Cafe and Saloon dressed in Scarlet and Gray.

when i lived in st. augustine, there was a great place called the oasis on anastasia island where i remember quite a few buckeye fans congregated on saturday's. i don't know if that's still the case, but worth checking out. and it's not a sports bar, but if you like craft brews and have some time, definitely check out the a1a restaurant in downtown st. auggie. has a couple in house micros and a great liquor selection. i go back a couple times a year, and the uf fans have really come out od the woodwork of late. you wont be alone though, there are buckeye fans around, they just may or may not be discrete. i'll try to find some other places too. hopefully you get some downtime to explore, its not a party city, but a very cool town nonetheless, i have a lot of family (buckeye transplants) that live there.

9-3, 7-6, 5-7, 10-2, 5-6, 3-8, 5-6, 7-4-1, 7-5, 7-5.

Wisconsin's final season record the last 10 times they beat OSU. (Half of those were in the Shoe.)

Wisky has not pounded anybody except Wofford. We are clearly the superior team and have the kind of D that should give them fits.

But Wisky has a way of beating us when they shouldn't.

Best I can come up with with a brick of cheese on my head.

I like where this sits on the schedule. OSU wins by two touchdowns.

Also...who knows what the [censored] is in sausage? They could put all kinds of nasty [censored] in there.

Someone who doesn't eat sausage during football season is unworthy of beard. You will shave now, and will continue to do so until you partake in the footballiest of football grindage.

Wisconsin vs the Bucks!

Go Bucks.

Took a step backward in the tackling department.

Also a step back at the qb position in this game.

Time to get better or bust.

Go Bucks beat the Badgers!!!!

I'm sorry to hear this. That seems to give me the extra motivation for me to root even harder for a blowout win over Wisconsin in honor for your grandfather.

GO BUCKS!
