No, I disagree......I grew up in Ohio. I saw Pete play in Riverfront.
He was a great player, but to even try to put him in the top 10 of all time is just homerism.

Pete, with his major problems, he is one of the GREATEST players ever. As a 34 y/o male, Pete Rose, as a ballplayer, was one of my heroes......noone in my generation played the game like it should be played. Ty Cobb, Ted Williams, Babe Ruth, Joe Jackson and did I say Ted Williams.....those are players that played the game like it should be played......
It, IMHO, doesn't matter what Pete did off the field......
