Now that was a good segment - a Bauer like removal of one on the beach, preceded by Hurley and the Magic Bus, then you have Sawyer following his gut "I didn't believe him" and voila no more captors on the beach.

Back to the Looking Glass next segment I suspect.

Call me a pussy, but I'm not sure if I like all the killing. I think it just seems out of place in the show. (Especially Sawyer killing guy who surrendered. I realize it was to make a point, but I'm still not sure if I like it.)

haha exactly what I was going to post! My guess would be that its going to happen sooner or later, and this was a) he doesnt put Desmond through trying to save him all the time, and b) what better way to go out than saving your friends and family (or so he thinks)?

I liked most of the episode tonight, although I really wanted Jack to kill Ben when he was knocking him around.

And I thought the ending sucked big time. Alternate futures? Barf.

Heroes should take notes from Lost on how to have a real finale, tonight's episode was great.

Charlie obviously had his mind set on dying, he knew it was his fate. Since he had previously been the cause of preventing events where they would be rescued he decided to not get in the way this time.

The "future flash" threw me off a bit. I still don't know what to make of it.

But, how has Lost become junk? It's still the best drama on TV.

All in all a worthwhile episode.

Hurley the hero! Woo-hoo!

While I can understand Charlie's demise since he had pretty much given in and accepted his fate....if I were Charlie I would have been driving everyone nuts with my new persona of Mr. Safety. Paranoid would have been an understatement.

Charlie: Hey Dez is that SCUBA gear?
Dez: Sure is brother.
Charlie: Hey let's get suited up...then shut this puppy down...can't be too careful...hey throw that fire extinguisher in the door jam so it doesn't swing shut or anything crazy like that.

The one annoying part to me was the grand dramatic scene with Locke...

I'll SHOOT YOU!...Oh you weren't supposed to do that...I'll just wander off aimlessly into the jungle now...

Anyways....Was future Kate married to Sawyer, or was he the one in the casket?

I'm just glad they killed off the pilot on day one.

Dealing with Matt Parkman's bumbling ass for the past few years woulda driven me crazy. :wink:
