I hate to say anything, but I think the league has figured our Buhrle. He either comes up with something else, or he's never going to be what he was for a year or two there.

We have plenty of other things to worry about besides Minny and Detroit. Like what the hell happened to our rotation, and will we ever see Bobby Jenks in a save situation again, because our starters seem to enjoy giving up about 7 runs in the 6th or 7th inning (unless it's Beuhrle, in which case it's the 3rd inning).

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THis is a disaster. When does Garland pitch again? Detroit will have a skid before the end of the year. However, at this pace that means their lead may go from 15 games to 5 in the central. Minnesota will probably come back to earth as well. If our pitching doesn't come around it won't mean shit though.

The whitesox have the day off today and then finally get a break in the schedule all be it on the road. They play Baltimore and then KC and end it with Toronto. I would really hope this team can go 7-2 AT WORST in this stretch. If they can not take every series, you may aswell forget about the playoffs, because its not going to get any easier than this next week.

The Sox this week offered center fielder Coco Crisp to the White Sox for left-handed All-Star Mark Buehrle, perhaps hoping that Buehrle's recent struggles might persuade White Sox GM Kenny Williams to move him. But the White Sox turned the deal down.
Buehrle, only 27, won 19 games in 2002 and has been a 16-game winner three times in the five years he has been taking a regular turn in the White Sox rotation.
Buehrle had a 9-4 record and 3.22 ERA when White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen named him to the All-Star team. But Buehrle has lost all five of his starts since then, going 0-5 with a 11.48 ERA. Opponents are batting a stunning .392 against him this month, and he has allowed 8 home runs in 26 2/3 innings.
The White Sox have been investigating CF options because rookie Brian Anderson is batting just .208 after taking over the position when Aaron Rowand went to the Phillies in the Jim Thome deal.
