Went to the game last night. wow! what a great effort all around (except Cotts beaning in a run, WTF) THey battled back three times. That's the clutch hitting I remember. I gotta give the game ball to Bobby though. Three innings of great pitching that gave us a chance to win it. One down two more to go. As a bonus boston and detroit lost.

Awesome game lastnight. This should give the whitesox tons of confidence going into the rest of the series. They were able to get it done with Mariano on the mound in the 9th, that is HUGE. Bobby was just lights out tonight, really hope the sox blow out the yanks tonight so that jenks can get some rest.

Garland vs. Johnson tonight. Last time Randy pitched at USCELLULAR the WhiteSox destroyed him. I think they hit 3 HRs in a row off of him.

It's tough to be upset about the game last night. Randy pitched a gem, but once we got to him we really got after it. It is just a damn shame with bases loaded 0 out we couldn't get a couple of them in. Am I the only one that thought for sure Thome was gonna come through in the 9th. I was so deflated when he grounded out. I'm going back to the southside for the rubber match tonight, so hopefully I can bring the boys some luck! they need this one.

yeah, i was in the parking lot boozing in my buddy's car waiting for it to quit. i ended up getting home and in bed around 115. the alarm came way too early this morning. the game was awesome. at one point when ozzie had just been thrown out the crowd's energy was so high it felt like late september. the fans are just so edgy right now and sick of the way we've been losing lately. i agree about 2 out of 3. we didn't gain any ground on minnesota but oh well. a sweep this weekend is crucial. it won't kill us to go 2 and 1 but a sweep would be great. well, i gotta go find my hatchet and get my goose on

Great game lastnight, the crowd was definitely pumped up. Was Abreu out? What did Ozzie say? I am not a big fan of gimmick type things in baseball but seeing the rally towels lastnight was pretty cool. It definitely felt like a playoff game, especially with the weather. WhiteSox have a lot of momentum going into this series. They played NY tough and took 2/3, Detroit lost 2/3 to the Twinkies.

Tonights Game:

Jose Contreras 10-4 3.75

vs.

Justin Verlander 14-4 2.79


WhiteSox need to start tonight off with a W. I have great confidence in Contreras pitching like he did in the first half of the year.
