When does "great offense" equal crappy defense?

Most of us saw this gem - Pitt 76, Syracuse 61 - but there was another display of "great offense" last Saturday between Middle Tennessee and Florida Atlantic.

MT 77
FAU 56

19 touchdowns - even the Arizona Rattlers and Philadelphia Soul couldn't keep up that pace. :roll1:

These games may indeed feature ineptitude, but they're undeniably entertaining.

With just under 10 minutes left on the game clock at the Belk Bowl:

Wake Forest 48
Texas A&M 45

Already over 1,000 yards gained, over 50 first downs, and on pace to take over 4 hours to play. :excited:

Wake makes a "stand" in the final 2 minutes to win, 55-52.

On the contrary, Wisconsin 27, Miami 24 in the 4th quarter is far more entertaining. Why? Because there's actually a chance the defense could make a stop, as opposed to some ridiculous garbage where the last team with the ball wins.

Texas Tech with another entry in this thread. This time it's vs Houston. Over 1200 yards, 96 points, and it ain't over yet.

Honorable mention goes to the Ole Miss-Southern Illinois circus a week ago - over 1250 yards and 117 points (41 by the FCS Salukis).
