I think he’s in a class of his own in the sense that he kept getting big jobs and never got fired until this season.

There have been DCs who were arguably in his class of awfulness but they had gotten fired and never really was able to b.s. their way to a better job like Gronch did.

That offense is an example of what can happen in a top heavy league like the B1G

They were an ok offense until they played Ohio State

Then the Buckeyes folded, spindled, and mutilated their confidence while showing everyone else how to attack them

If Iowa played PSU now they’d probably beat them
