I recorded this and watched it this morning. Leach was ahead 49-17 with 5 minutes to go in the third, then shitty UCLA scored 50 points in the last 20 minutes! They scored on a kickoff return, a punt return, and on a 1-play 96 yard TD with pathetic tackling attempts by Wazzu - that play was right after Leach didn't follow his own beliefs by punting from midfield on 4th and a short 5 yards.

Wazzu's receivers got repeatedly stripped while being tackled, once when a first down would have just about iced the game; their QB threw for 9 TDs, the most in FBS since Keenan was at Houston, the 6 total turnovers allowed for a team to score 63 and lose in regulation. Leach is a great offensive mind, and a quotable national treasure, but not a great overall coach.

Arkansas State 59, Georgia State 52

Highest scoring game in Sun Belt history, these two powerhouses (who entered the game with .500 records) racked up 1,192 yards - 551 of which were passing yards by ASU.

There were actually 9 punts in this game, which is possible in a high-scoring game when 8 of the TD drives take less than 2 minutes. Tackling was clearly optional tonight.
