What's Some of Your Favorite Stuff?

Zero Water filter pitchers. Makes your water taste great.
Raspberry Pi single board computers. A world of DIY computing options to play with cheaply. Home stereo streaming? Check. Home automation? Check
P S Audio power(electrical protection and improvement) products. You electricity sucks! You should protect your investment in expensive TV , computer and stereo products with some sort of surge and actual improvement component. I have used a P S Audio Power Plant P3 for 10 years now and it has been worth the high cost to protect my investment in electronics. It also makes my TV picture look better. It weighs 40 lbs! Is built like a tank.

I have a large number of Pi's for RetroPie arcades, which handle everything up to N64, which gets a little laggy with most games. haven't tried the latest model. I used to use Pi's one all my TV's as media players until I moved onto a couple of my other favorite things Roku and Plex Media Server. I tend to upgrade one of my Roku's ever other year or so on Black Friday when they are typically half off to keep the fleet up to date. I'm very happy that I paid for the lifetime Plex Pass back when it was $70. My OTA DVR runs over it and saves me a bundle for cutting the cord. I'm also a big fan of most things Kirkland Signature.

Samsung televisions
Colgate toothpaste
Asian automakers
Top-load HE washing machines
Eucerin lotions

Samsung makes great TV's, but never buy an appliance from them. They make the shittiest fridges. My wife is going to war with them over ours and she isn't alone. If anyone has one they have a defective design and will come out to service it for free even if it's off warranty. Just refuse to pay anything and tell them it's a design defect when it ices up and the fan stops.

How do you watch Big Ten Network? Is that included in Plex Pass?
