What's Some of Your Favorite Stuff?

For me:

Barbour coats: expensive but last a lifetime, and after they've been beat to shit, cracked, torn and sent off to be repaired, they look even better

Admiral Joesph's (Trader Joe's) London Dry Gin: 10 clams a bottle for made in England gin that's a dead ringer for Bombay

Dolin Vermouth: both sweet and dry

Seiko 5 automatic watches: Proof that you can get a reliable mechanical watch from a highly reputable and established company in the low 3 figures

Blushark Watch Straps: The best NATO straps on the market with an ongoing buy 2 get 1 free deal

Allen Edmonds shoes: expensive (but they have frequent sales with large discounts), but worth it for last a lifetime quality and made in USA

And Wheat Chex, been eating them since junior high and still the only dry cereal that I'll eat.

Sony TVs. Had a few growing up, they were rock solid and lasted well after we were done with them and gave them to family when moving/upgrading, and my wife's 32" is going on 10 years with not a single problem in sight (and that's with her refusing the use the sleep timer, so it's been on all night the last 5 years more often than it shuts off after a few hours). When I replace the Black Friday Samsung special that was a gift in our living room, it will either be a Vizio because I want to be conservative and save a few hundred, or I will splurge a bit and get a good Sony.

The only other non-food thing that I really buy specifically for the brand are Nike socks. I've had many pairs that have outlasted multiple bags of other brands from every big box store. They're comfortable, breathe well, and last. I do generally prefer their shoes, but it's not unusual for me to rotate my shoe brand every so often between Nike, Reebok, and Adidas depending on use/style.

How do you watch Big Ten Network? Is that included in Plex Pass?

WOW doesn't block basic cable on my Internet hookup so I'm able to get BTN, Sportstime Ohio, and Fox Sports with Plex although the quality sucks on a 75" tv. The OTA HD channels come through WOW as well so I get them all on the HD Homerun tuner that I use for Plex. I think I heard that Sling will be getting BTN this fall, but I'm sure it will be an extra cost. If I really needed HD I would just pay for BTN+ for the football season.

Any experience with their outwear? I've been eyeballing one of their shearling coats for the last year but just can't quite bring myself to drop that kind of money on a jacket, no matter how damn soft and good-looking it is.
