What would classify this tournament as a success?

What would classify our run in The Dance as a success?

I've just decided what would make this tournament a success.

Not having to see Ohio State vs. Florida AGAIN for the national title. BARF.

If OSU wins it all - fine, not ideal of course as a Michigan fan but, yay Big Ten. Maybe then Bill Simmons would have to eat his words?

If Florida wins it all - well, ugh.....just....ugh. But then again, at least I don't have to put up with Florida fans, ever.

But if they actually meet in the title game? I think I would go into hiding until it's over just to avoid all the hype.

Ya know, when it came to teams from the south, I always rooted for Florida, until the last 3-4 months...Ugh. It's getting old. If the Buckeyes don't win, I hope it's Geargetown. If not them, wow, I don't know...

From here on out it's all gravy. What a great job by a wonderfully molded unit of upstart freshmen and poised and talented upperclassmen. To play what I feel is the best game of the year at this point of the season makes next weekend look real promising. Great job Buckeyes, you've done us proud (but 2 more wins would make us a whole lot prouda). :osu2:

This season's run really feels eerily similar to 2002. A couple early blowouts followed by squeakers over some teams we should have throttled. Come from behind wins, everybody calling us the Luckeyes...the list goes on and on. Ron Lewis even gave us our basketball Holy Buckeye!

Classification as a success, achieved. Promise and dream sold to kids, check. Now they can finish in peace IMO... I am positive some of Thad's first words to Greg, Mike, Othello, Daequan, David, et al., were " do you want to get to the final four?" "This is our map of doing just that!" If he's sleeping in this morning, I'm sure he's resting confortably as the most satisfied man in America. Probably only until this afternoon though....:)

Any thoughts given the history here? If it were UCLA I would have stayed by my feelings that it was necessary to make the 8 and a crowning achievement to make the 4....but now that we play Florida, this becomes a make or break game for me.

Its bigger than this one game and its bigger than a basketball game.
