What Player Do You Want Most in the '13 Class & Why?

Cornerback6

Optimism Lover
This could've been sandwiched into the 2013 Recruiting Thread, but I figured it was worthy of its own. Mods, if you want to move it, it's all good but I figured it would just get gobbled up in the other thread and it could make for some good discussion in and of itself.

That being said, the player (NOT YET SIGNED) that I would like to see most in this class is probably Robert Foster. I would say it's just for the need of a serious playmaker at WR, but it goes beyond that. I guess I feel like without him, we have all of the major needed puzzle pieces for a complete class in good shape (QB thru MLB). With him though, I think we not only get the play-by-play threat like the Ginn & Co., but we take PA's top player AGAIN. I'm sure I'm not the only one who misses holding their breath everytime Teddy touched the ball because no matter what, there was always that chance it was going for 6. Feels like ages since we've had that. Even with Beanie/Posey/Boom/Hall/etc, it just hasn't been the same. Another perk is that if Zaire is leaning on him to come to tOSU like he says he is, then that probably means if we get Foster, Malik is in the fold as well...which some already think to be true anyway.

Before there are 1,000 name drops of similar threats who we are onto or hope to land, I know there are playmakers galore on our board, but I think in the '13 class, Foster is in a league of his own. At a position we've been dying for an instant impact player (no disrespect to Smith/Brown/Fields or any others). Lastly, I know Teddy is a once in a generation kind of talent, but if there is one similar in this class, I think it's Foster and he'd be HUGE in S&G.

:oh:

WR Robert Foster. I've already stated as much in his thread a few weeks ago. His film reminds me of Terrelle Pryor at WR. He's dominating. He's big and plenty fast. Until we have a guy on the roster step up and be the man from the WR position, the way Posey was, I'll keep wanting a great playmaking WR to go with the stable of backs we are building.

I'm no longer worried about the Oline. Meyer and crew will not let that be a deficiency again.

My choice would be either adam brenemen or mike heurman. A pass catching TE is a valuable asset in the urban meyer offense. Idk which guy we will get but either will be assets on our team and provide valuable depth when stoney is gone. And both will create some great mismatches in our favor

Jaylon smith has definitely become my next in line for guys I want after one of the TEs. What this kid did this weekend in indy at that combine was nothing short of incredible. And what makes it even more amazing is that he's a LB!

I will take that guy I don't know about at this point (because I'm not super active on following recruits) or that guy that is well known but thought to be untouchable. UFM seems to have a knack for impressing us so I will just sit back and watch him work his mojo!
