What Player Do You Want Most in the '13 Class & Why?

As much as I liked Bosa's film, it really surprises me how many of we tOSU fans are putting him at the top of our wants list considering our DE haul last year. The kid is a maniac on D, but I think we'll get insane rush from Adolphus/Se'von & Noah the next couple years. I want a PLAYMAKER on O...like yesterday.

Not that any answer is right or wrong, just an observation. :)

U can never have enough studs on the d line, ask the sec and their dominance on the college football landscape. Sure, other teams have been able to match speed at the skill positions, but many teams outside of that conference have found it difficult to have much success with their offense against the top sec teams because of the amount of athletic d linemen that the sec produces. I don't think we can be content with just 1yr of having a stellar d line class and then just saying let's just focus on other positions. We need to bring in several top level des on a yearly basis, just like at qb and rb

You make some great points pnuts...I couldn't agree more about needing to stockpile studs on the DLine, but I was just noting that where we got 3 absolute pass rushing studs in the last class, I think we still missed out on the Ginn-type. FWIW, I'd kill to have Bosa in this class. But I think from a want standpoint...it would be so nice to have that TD threat that stretches defenses on every single play. The sacks are coming my friend. Good discussion though!

Note: Yes I know Jalin Marshall will provide that spark. But from a PURE WR standpoint, it doesn't get much scarier than Bob Foster w/a solid QB throwing the ball. Who knows...Marshall might be the QB anyway (which I doubt, but hey).

Exactly. especially with a sport that is as injury prone as football. bosa is about as good as I've seen in the nation. You don't pass on him just cause you had a good class last year. Robert Foster and Jaylon Smith would be awesome, too.

Dear God I would never pass on Bosa. Let's not get it twisted because I'd rather have Foster.

Like a couple have said, the question isn't "A, B or C," it's "who is your A, who is your B, and who is your C" etc. He isn't saying to pass on Bosa, he's just saying he's putting a higher priority in areas where we're lacking right now.

To illustrate this point:

I already have Hayden Panetierre, Katherine Bell, Katy Perry, and Julianne Hough in my harem.

I have the chance to add Kate Beckinsale or Katrina Bowden

Kate Beckinsale gets the nod, since I'm currently at a 3:1 blonde:brunette ratio. As badly as I may want Katrina, I know I'll be happier in the long run with a well-rounded harem. Variety, after all, is the spice of life.

(I was originally including girls of other ethnicities as well, but for the sake of simplicity, I kept it at blondes and brunettes. Halle, since I know you're a frequent reader of this board, just know yours was the first name I wrote!)
