Depends on what you want to spend, but the current Defenders are pretty badass.Deer got me Saturday night. Any recommendations on an SUV?
Land Rovers are junk!Depends on what you want to spend, but the current Defenders are pretty badass.
Did you keep the deer? At least you can eat that bastard after your car was blasted:-)Deer got me Saturday night. Any recommendations on an SUV?
As long as you lease it....Depends on what you want to spend, but the current Defenders are pretty badass.
How much would I have to pay somebody to teach me what to say when I am pissed the wife texts while driving
How we have not eaten a tailpipe is but for the grace of God
As long as you lease it....
Ha.....spending considerably less than an arm and a leg
What is that old joke - 90% of Land Rovers made are still on the road. 10% made it to their final destinations. What's the reliability like on those things? Everyone I know who has LRs are always moaning about repairs. When the wife was looking to replace her Q7 she wouldn't even consider one because of her friend who had one.
And FWIW, the Q7 was a GREAT SUV. Kiddo in Oxford is driving it now. Your statement about not off roading German stuff definitely applies to BMW, but I'd have zero issue taking the Q7 off road. For that matter, I'd do the same with the wife's Cayenne... but that would be just about the last thing I ever do before she killed me.
I'd 100% travel for a good deal. That sounds like a blast. Thanks for the tip! What do you want to spend? Are you willing to get on a plane?
If you're willing to travel for the right deal, you can pick something up that is VERY nice that some soccer mom got sick of after a year or two. I got my S6 with less than 2.5K miles on it for $30 off of the sticker, but I had to fly to Memphis to get it. By the time I got home I had literally put 25% of the miles on the car in a single drive. Generally you can find something with stupid low miles a year or two old for a significant discount. Let someone else pay the first two years' worth of depreciation for you.
We've had a Jeep Grand Cherokee in the early 2000s and loved it. My dad has a new one. I'm not impressed.
We've also had a '10 Acura MDX that was great. Both of our boys drove that through high school and into college. Just got rid of it last winter. I think the newer ones have gotten nothing but better.
Have a '15 Q7 that is in the youngest has at Miami. Can't say enough good things about that car. Solid as a rock. Reliable as fuck.
Have a '21 Cayenne e-hybrid that the wife drives now. You can have the keys to that when you pry them out of her cold dead hands.
If I were buying now, I'd not hesitate on a Q7 or another Cayenne.
