Putting in PDX
Buddy brought over UFC: Undisputed 2009.
Fuckin' sick. The controls are really vague in the booklet, which from one aspect is frustrating, but also is pretty realistic. The basic controls are simple, but they lay the foundation for some more advanced moves. The ground game is awesome. Take downs are possible and submissions are also possible, but they will take time to master. It can be like stand up fighting, just trading blows, at times; which can get old, but that's where the ground attack makes the game much more entertaining. After playing about 5 fights, it is not an easy game to pick up, but takes time to master the techniques. However, the game is fun and with some decent time playing can be mastered.
Graphics are great. Detail, light reflection, all that is put together very well and intelligently. Audio commentary is also very conversational and realistic. There is actual analysis, but it could become repetitive, though I haven't played enough to find out.
And watch out for the knockout at any time.
