Mario Galaxy is a must play, though only for one player.

Anyone else have other good party game suggestions? I really didn't like Wario Ware when I played it in stores.

Try Smarty Pants. It's an older title from EA, but it's a good 'mature' party game. Its a trivia game that utilizes the Wiimote very well, so everything you do in the game is based on gestures (raise your hand to answer questions, flick your wrist to "spin the wheel", etc ...) It supports Miis and also has some intelligent age-profiling to offer questions to people that will be relevant to them, in the case you're playing with a varied age group.

There's some silly motion-based stuff in it too that was pretty unnecessary for a trivia game, but it can be fairly humorous when you've got a group of drunk friends over. My friends and I have had some fun with it.

Killzone 2

Repetitive like most any FPS, looks great, plays fine.
I just can't get use to having to run aim and shoot with two joysticks - need to work on it a bit.

I love the two joysticks, especially when I can use the left trigger to zoom/aim. That is what I'm struggling with on the PS3, the zoom is mapped to the right thumb stick and it's a press down the thumbstick thing. The other controller configs don't allow it to move to the L2 button.

College Hoops 2k8 remains my favorite sports game of all-time... I'm in 2014-15 of my career legacy at Saint Mary's, currently sitting at 10-1 and ranked #6 in the nation heading into conference play.

I would stay here until the tOSU job opens up, but Matta is like 47 or 48... and they are the #1 team in the nation right now so I'm not expecting it to happen anytime soon. Roy Williams is 65 though so I'll wait 'till the UNC job opens up.

Reinforced that the Wii is a great concept that doesn't have the software to back it up...

de Blob was a well-designed game with excellent graphics, movement and an interesting concept, it just wasn't all that fun. It seemed like a great game for a 6 year old.

Boom Blox was quite boring.

Mario Party is probably the last rental before it gets sent packing for a ps3.

Did you try the Bond game? Online mode against random people is pretty cool

The Wii is great for two types of people, those under the age of 10, and those who are completely fucked drunk and couldn't manage the controller of a 360 or PS3, it becomes so entertaining when you are hammered.

Rabids was good, the force unleased for the system is fun, the zelda game is good, Mario world or whatever is nice, and a few otther games. However, Mario Party is THE get hammered and have a fist fight break out in your living room game. When it ends, and dick head cocky fucker who can't stop bragging about how many stars he has, we'll call him "me", finds out that the game somehoe gives douchebag that "me" has fucked with the entire board gets like 86 thousand stars for being an emo bitch, gets pissed and breaks the top off a beer bottle, that's good times.

Madden 09. It's infuriating in it's polish and gameplay. The collision physics, the defensive AI, the graphics, even the simple act of running,.. so superior to the half-hearted gameplay from NCAA09 (but wait, here are some bells and whistles so we don't have to improve it - let alone copy it from our own football game).

XMen Origins: Wolverine. Great graphics (unreal engine), fun but simplistic gameplay (run/leap around and slash everything to pieces). They went a little crazy with the blood spatters, which come off more like a nickelodeon gameshow (splat). Held my attention for an evening, would probably play it 2 more nights tops. I'm taking it back because I don't want to spoil any more big action scenes from the movie.
