Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports & Monkey Ball.

First three are as advertised, the last was a disappointment. I wasn't expecting a ton, but they ditched too much of the racing fun (which diminished a lot) for a billion mediocre party games.

Spore, The Witcher, Dark Messiah for PC. Just picked up a new laptop a couple days ago (I love it).

A friend let me borrow these three games. Spore was cool, but rather disappointing. It got old after a while. Most of the entertainment came from trying to make the creatures look as ridiculous as possible. Then it froze.

The other two are supposed to be pretty decent RPGs.. so I have high expectations.

Quantum of Solace (new Bond game) on the Wii. I am addicted to the multi-player mode online. It does have some annoying buggy things though. (i.e. First one to start a new game is designated the host and when they leave the game automatically ends.)

Killzone 2 on the PS3.

As advertised, IMHO. Amazing game, and I love the multiplayer -- strikes a good balance between the frenetic shoot-from-the-hip game play style that the old PC FPS games used to have (like Quake, Unreal Tournament, etc ...) where you have to unload a good bit of ammo into your opponents' tummy to bring 'em down, but also has some tactical elements where you can stare down the iron sights and head shot people from long distance with a short burst. The most appealing part for me is that balance, so you don't have a bunch of aim-assist n00bs running around with sights up all the time. You almost have to stop to bring up your sights to aim, making you an easy mark if you do it out in the open.

Lovin' the game play, though it admittedly takes some adjustment due to the "weight" and lack of ability to spin around on a dime. If you get flanked, you're pretty much hosed.

Stopped playing these. I bought Oblivion for PC and have modded the shit out of it. It's even more excellent now than it was.

Yeah, I picked up a PS3 about 2 months ago and couldn't resist(FPS fan). I've been playing the xbox too long, I cannot get my hands to adjust to having the thumbsticks right next to each other, it just doesn't feel comfortable yet. After playing Gears 2 for so long on multiplayer I'm afraid to go play Killzone on psn because I'll probably just piss off my teammates for sucking so bad.

We got a Wii a month or so ago, and I've been really enjoying our newest game Boom Blox. We got the system for party-type entertainment and it's been fun to play with friends. Easy to pick up and challenging on some levels.

I've played Zelda:Twighlight Princess a bit, but can't play for extended periods of time - the camera angles/tracking can give me vertigo - especially inside buildings...

Our other game is Mariokart - solid game and another party favorite.

But of course, Wii Sports bowling is fun too.

Mario Galaxy is a must play, though only for one player.

Anyone else have other good party game suggestions? I really didn't like Wario Ware when I played it in stores.
