Today proved me correct.

This series was over when they choked away game 2. *shrug* I was done holding out hope then. I'd say good luck in the next round if I didn't hate Detroit with every fiber of my being, and everything else in Michigan for that matter. So, I hope the entire team gets food poisoning and has to play their AHL team in the finals. I'm sure this thread makes Woody sad. :scum4: I know you'll "live with it", but you have no other choice because it's the truth.

That's probably the best for one player since the great Montreal teams of the late 60s and early 70s....surpassing Messier who had 5 between Edmonton and the NYR....I'm sure I'm missing someone though - I can't imagine someone from those Flyers or Islanders teams not winning another cup on another team....
BB73;1471706; said:He's only got his name on the Cup 3 times - he was still with Chicago when the Wings won two in the 90s. 22 years apart for the first and the last is awfully impressive.

souL;1471769; said:As for bitter, Woody never spent a penny in Detroit, you really think he would appreciate this? I said it at the start of the series, WELL before I was bitter--don't hide from the truth :).
