Western Conf Final: Wings-Hawks

What's up up with Babcockputting in Conklin. Giving Ozzie the rest of the night off?

As a Penguins fan, I'd prefer if Babcock kept Osgood in. :wink2:

Blackhawks fell apart.. this series is over. See you in the finals, Detroit, unless there is an unbelievable collapse in either conference.

As long as we both make it (which we should) I'm really looking forward to the rematch. :)

I'm looking forward to it, kind of. Unfortunately I don't see the Pens beating the Wings. The Pens' defense and goaltending has been too shady, and the Wings will show up.

You're smoking crack if you think Huet's anywhere near as bad as Theodore. First of all Huet stole his job because he was just better back in '05-'06. Huet's numbers are way better than Theodore's all around. For example shutouts are 28-20 in favor of Theodore in spite of 270 more starts for Theodore.

Huet's allowed 1 goal or less 14 times this year--he's definitely been the more hot/cold goaltender than Bulin. He absolutely carried this team when Bulin was on the IR the first time and he's got decent career playoff numbers. Jose Theodore he is not.

You talk about career numbers, I was just talking about the way he matches up against the Wings.

Today proved me correct.
