Jaxbuck, any chance that Pitt beats WVU?

Never thought there was and this game certainly hasn't changed my mind.

Keep in mind the Oregon syndrome. WVU is one hurt player away from being a completely different team and yes, I still want them in the NC game if given a choice.

The voters will come away from this impressed because of the margin of victory. They should come away questioning whether a team that plays in this conference of worthy of possibly being crowned national champion.

Real powerhouse teams don't dump Gatorade on their coach after beating a basketball school.

Fuck it.

At this point I say let the media hype roll, pray for OU and lets hope we get a month and a half to hear how WVU is going to kill us.

West Virginia has a great running QB, but the teams they have faced, are not exactly the cream of the crop......this is a team that lost to south florida.

The possible scenario is perfect for Ohio State......WV is the favorite.....they are similar to Florida last year with the potent offense....running QB.....we won't be given a chance against this great offense.........perfect in my opinion. Now....lets go Oklahoma.

Associated Press
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez bear-hugged his wife and twirled her around. Fullback Owen Schmitt ran into the Mountaineers' marching band section and started banging on a bass drum.

Strike a chord -- No. 4 West Virginia is on the brink of playing for a national championship after beating No. 20 Connecticut 66-21 yesterday to clinch the Big East title and a spot in the Bowl Championship Series.
West Virginia (10-1, 5-1) will move up at least one spot to second in the BCS standings. With one more win Saturday against Pittsburgh, the Mountaineers likely will be headed to the championship game Jan. 7 in New Orleans.
"We want to finish the deal next week in a big rivalry game," Rodriguez said. "We haven't played Pitt with more at stake."
Pat White rushed for 186 yards and accounted for three touchdowns, and West Virginia compiled a season-high 517 yards on the ground.

Why the faint heart? Uconn is not out of this game and can win it if they just stick to running the ball.?
Anyone who actually watches this game cannot seriously believe that WV is better than us.
Dude, they won by 46 points. That is flat impressive, regardless of the opponent.
