Pittman didnt have a bad game against either, against PSU he averaged I believed 3.9 yards a carry, and against Texas he actually played a good game, we just abandoned the run both times. Ive watched them both all year, and Pittman will be the best running back on the field Jan. 2nd. Darius Walker doesnt have the speed and burst to have a good game against our defense.
I never said that Pittman wasn't a better runningback or that Walker could run on our defense. I'm saying that Walker has been impressive this season. In fact, any runningback that carries the ball under 250 times and gains 1,100+ yards in a 12-game season is impressive in my book.

well bucks, I have wasted enough company time and will probably get yelled at for not being very productive the past hour or so. I just want to say that your website is great and this was the best conversation about football with OSU fans I have ever had. I will check later since now I am a member, and please go to the Notre Dame sites and chime in with your ideas. This is probably going to be the best game of the bowl season and will definitly be watched by more than any other bowl.

So? Like I stated before, I never said that Walker was better.

I would hope not. I've watched several of ND's games this year and all of our games, and I think even putting the two RBs in the same sentence is a joke. Look at the ypc for each back, and it's not even close. I'd take Pittman on my team any day of the week over Walker, who will be lucky to run for 35 yards in the Fiesta Bowl.

Pittman averages 2 feet more per carry. Pretty close to me.

Bias aside, right?
It all depends on how many carries he gets. Despite the ranking and talent, our front 7 aren't immune to getting run on a little bit by a good back. Shocker, I know.

Yeah, who cares about passing efficiency? :roll1: Or ypc for RBs (see previous post)?:roll1:
I don't even know how they come up with the pass efficiency rankings, as VY's stats aren't really that impressive. Especially compared to Quinn's. If anyone finds the formula, feel free to post it for me.
Nonetheless, INTs thrown is a much more important statistic than passing efficiency or YPC, so I don't see your point.
