It's a one-horse show in Columbus, which is sad because they have some competitive programs that don't draw well, especially hockey.
Dumb asshole. Do your fucking research and check into how many sellouts in a row the CBJ had. Just because they suck, doesn't mean we don't go to the games. I wish these would people get their heads out of their asses.

2003-2004---17,339 per game, (15th in NHL), 95.6% Capacity, (13th in NHL)
2002-2003---17,744 per game, (11th in NHL), 97.8% Capacity, (9th in NHL)
2001-2002---18,136 per game, (8th in NHL), 100.0% Capacity, (T-3rd in NHL)
2000-2001---17,457 per game, (12th in NHL), 96.3% Capacity, (9th in NHL)

WOW! That took me all of 5 minutes to track down! Obviously these douchebags don't have time for that since they are too busy exalting their lone Final Four apperance.

He might have meant Ohio State hockey.

nobody knew enough to respond to that being posted over there anyway

humorous that they define a basketball program by postseason success yet they haven't been to more than one final four, and that was 30+ years ago when they lost to OSU.

Hey! Whoever posted that over there took out some of my best work!

Oh, well. Probably would have been a free trip to Banned-ville for them. :ban:

Haha....after all the crap I posted last night, this is what gets me banned:

What defines having a legit basketball team?
Posted: 6/8/05 9:46:12 am I suspect after reading this thread that the nerves are a little ragged up there in Columbus.

Couldn't be farther from the truth. From what I gather from my OSU friends who follow this recruitment, one word I would not use to describe them is worried. Hopefully the Wake faithful can come to this realization before Oden and Conley decide their futures.....if not, the fireworks over here should be fun to watch.

Then those dipshits post these beauties and I can't even let them know how retarded they are:

Re: What defines having a legit basketball team?
Posted: 6/8/05 9:54:57 am Most of the people who post here are sceptical at best about Conley coming to Wake. Hopeful, certainly, but confident by no means. Oden is out of the question. If he does go to college it will more than likely be at Indiana. Besides, Oden is one and done... the shoe contract beckons...

Re: What defines having a legit basketball team?
Posted: 6/8/05 9:57:10 am I think Wake, MSU and IU (if OSU were really that high up on his list, they would have already verballed) should look at Greg as a wonderful bonus, but not think he'll ever don our colors.

Not just a river in Egypt folks.

Yeah they pick weird reasons to ban you over there.

I love how one of them answered post season success ws the definition of a legit program, yet their school has had nothing of the sort.

Even more enjoyable was the list of being competitive every year and putting guys into the pros, yet not needing to include postseason success.

They've got a huge case of penis envy after being the little guys for so long. now that they've had three years of being in the top-10 (but doing nothing in the tourney), they suddenly have exalted themselves to elite status despite no one else thinking so.

I'd love for Oden and Conley to read that board. Reportedly a relative of Conleys read it regularly in the past and probably still does.

Unlike OSU where you would have a very slim chance of running into someone that posts on their scout board, everybody knows everyone else at wake. I sure would hate to go to school with tools like them.

it should be easy to change USA to OSU for the wake board.

Actually, that was 40+ years, if I'm not mistaken (in either the '60, '61, or '62 Final Four).

i love how a perfect example of how espn spins things falls and hits them on the head and they scramble trying to defend themselves about the way they reacted.........yet all OSU fans are paranoid.
