I might cry if he ends up in arizona. Miami would be just fine with me. I doubt that though as Saben was quoted as saying Vince's senior year in high school that he was the #1 receiving prospect in the nation.

While I think it greatly hurts our chances to win next year, I hope he returns. Young has been a joy to watch this year, and I'd like to see us take on the Longhorns at full strength...even if it means a loss.
I'd love to see Vince as a Brown, but given the development of Frye, we've got a lot more pressing matters in other areas

Many right wing conservative homophobic fans have proclaimed they have "man crushes" on the guy to point where it gets a little creepy.
But anyone who is a fan of team searches for a guy like Vince. He brings so much to the table in so many ways that he is worthy of all the admiration he receives. His coaches, his teammates, and his fans have so much faith in him as a leader that we believe in our heart of hearts he WILL NOT let us lose EVER. That is why many of our fans come off as cocksure and arrogant.
I must admit that I too, am guilty of such feelings. I know the Trojans are an amazing, virtually unstoppable team. I know you have dominated many "worthy" opponents. I know many of their fan bases were confident as are we.
But in our collective guts, we all feel something special is coming. If Vince is who he believes he is, if he is who he has shown us to be over the past six or so years... look out!
Many Longhorns believe that Vince is one of those very rare once in a lifetime type of athelets who change their sport forever. Comparisons to Michael Jordan and Muhammed Ali are valid in our eyes. The talent is there, but it is more about the way he carries himself and believes in himself.
I have hoped we would match up against SC from the beginning of the season. The story line has been writing itself for months now. This looks to be an epic battle.
Here's the thing- if Vince is indeed the Ali or Jordan of football, the guy we're going to tell our grandkids about, the stage has been set for him so perfectly, it almost seems like it was scripted, or true destiny.
Laugh if you want, call me stupid, but a part of me feels that the only reason for your historic win streak, your Heisman Trophy winners, your complete dominance is so that Vince can fufill his destiny and take down Goliath on the grandest stage in college football on his way to immortality.
