From what little experience I have with jailbreaking, I'd say no. Custom roms are a completely custom version of the Android OS. Some roms are also ports things like HTC's Sense, ICS, or Jelly Bean to phones that those roms normally aren't provided on.

yea right, I couldn't do a good review of a phone, I'm pretty stupid in the world of smartphones...

but, this is a badass phone. Fast, and the screen is unbelievable nice looking (i'm coming from a DX so a lot of screens I see now will be better). The camera is fast (not much delay) and takes good clear pics. It's got a front facing camera so that's cool too. It's my first Samsung phone it's taking me a bit to figure out how to work it. Haven't really dived too much into the phone yet. Being on 4G for the first time is sweet, the speed is a lot faster.

I like the layout of that phone and can get it cheap.

Which ones are new? The One X? It's okay, Im not a huge fan of the HUGE camera on the back. I've heard really good things about that phone though

I got a Razr Maxx a few weeks back. Been very satisfied thus far.
