Forty-seven days after an unimaginable loss to Stanford, Southern California is back in the Rose Bowl hunt.

John David Booty threw for 375 yards and matched a career high with four touchdown passes as the 11th-ranked Trojans blitzed No. 7 Arizona State 44-24 last night in Tempe, Ariz., reviving their bid for an unprecedented sixth straight Pac-10 title.
USC (9-2, 6-2) will win the Pac-10 outright if it beats UCLA on Dec. 1 and Oregon loses to UCLA or Oregon State.

Fuck you, Keyshawn. "I wanna see USC play Ohio State. A Big Ten team against the speedy Pac 10". Wow, every conference except ours has speed... :roll1:

After Keyshawn whined about USC not getting props, I did like Fowler's comment about now USC has received a media love-fest for the last 5 years.

Wow, these Pac-10 officials are special.

When it was 30-17, USC threw a pass that looked like it may have been a lateral. Arizona State picked up the ball and ran it all the way in from midfield. The side judge that had the ball coming toward him made no call, which would have allowed the replay to determine whether it was a lateral or not. The guy on the opposite sideline blew his whistle for an incompletion. The replay that ESPN showed wasn't from a good enough angle to tell for sure, and they didn't make a big deal about it. Or course, if it would have gone to replay, there's no telling what the Pac-10 replay crew would have done. :tongue2:
