The course and the pressure are taking their toll today.

Glover and Barnes are now at -5, with Mahan at -2, Weir, Fisher, and Hanson at -1, Phil at even and Tiger at +1 (thru 12 for Tiger). Duval had a 6 on a par 3 early, and just got a birdie to get back to even.

-3 in the clubhouse would sure look good. -2 might win it.

Phil just hit a second shot about 30 yards left of the green, couldn't see the flag, but caught a break by having the ball on a path that was flattened. He got an up-and-down to stay at -1, and Tiger just bogeyed to go back to even par thru 15 (after back-to-back birdies to get under par for the first time all week).

Anybody setting up a remote DVR recording should know that the coverage will switch from ESPN to NBC at the bottom of this hour.

Glover is now -4, Barnes -3 thru 9 holes. They shot 38 and 40 on the front nine respectively. Fisher is at -2, then comes Phil, Mahan and Weir at -1.

I'll take -2 in the clubhouse right now.

I don't understand why people here don't like Duval. He was one of the first guys, along with Tiger, that brought conditioning (lifting) into golf. I thought that the reason he did not do very well for such a long time was because he had psychiatric problems. Is that incorrect or what was wrong with him:huh:

Phil now has about 5 feet for eagle on 13. It will tie him for the lead at -4.

Tiger is now the leader in the clubhouse at even par.

I do like Duval...I think that because he's been a no show for such a long time not many people are rooting for him. It's a shame he's had some bad breaks today otherwise he could be up there towards the top. Hopefully he can finish strong.
