I personally would go with Urban in a heartbeat,A) He despises anything TCUN, he has the competitive edge we’ve missed since he’s been gone. He holds you accountable whether you are a walk on or 5* , anything less than an all out effort is non-negotiable with him B) he holds his assistants to the highest standards which is not happening, he also wasn’t afraid to mix young hot shot coaches with veteran leadership. He expects each position group to be elite at what they do, or not afraid to set the bar high and work tirelessly to achieve itC) I think he had a chance to reflect his time at Jacksonville. He has pride and definitely wants to get his name back in a positive light. You could see a slightly nicer, more engaging Urban but the fire would still be there D) he did not forget how to coach football and his influence still is large, he could call up any top assistant or elite recruit and it would move the needle . And I feel it would be more people contributing to NIL knowing it would for sure go towards a National Championship under his leadership. Just my opinion

Outsiders Question:

For those saying Corch Meyer, how concerned are you about the fact that he has
A). Never once had to deal with the transfer portal (including those coming and going),
2). Never had to deal with NIL and it's implications roster wide

OK, that one might be a bit debatable.

Leipold coached U. Buffalo. They would win the early scheduled games and lose late in the year. Kansas saw the same last year.
His bad habit is once his team goes ahead, he plays conservative/not to lose and tries to hang on. In his last 8 games in 2022, they lost 7.

Issue one is that Urban would never get past the Board of Trustees, and #2, he's said repeatedly he's done with coaching. And as someone else mentioned. He never had to deal with the transfer portal or NIL. I believe he's been pretty critical of both.
