Or that Saban be fired for recruiting a proven abuser who turned around and abused a Bama girl.
No innuendo, he said/she said, fake calls to the cops, editing tweets ... straight up recruited a dude on trial, kept him after the guilty verdict, and he did it again.

Jonathan TaylorWho was that?
I don't suppose Bama did anything to feed the media attention, either.it came out a week or two after the Smith firing. Everyone sort of breezed over the bigger of the two stories as McTurd was trying to get Urbs fired for one of his assistants having marital issues and liking sex toys. If it doesn't get shoved down your throat by espin, it really didn't happen.
The "Old Urban" is gone. He's still going to keep winning games and people are going to say he isn't gone but the truth is those wins are coming from recruiting that is so much better than the schools he is playing against.
An elite coach at the top of his game doesn't have an Iowa and a Purdue in back to back years.
I can't blame him. He's already been at the top of the sport three times. He's made all the money in the world. Now he has grandkids to focus on.
But this is Ohio State and we compete for National Championships, and if you don't have the fire to keep competing for them, then just retire
I hope not because if that's the case, I fear OSU may have won its last natty for the foreseeable future. I don't see another coach being able to do the things that Urban has been able to do in recruiting and in terms of just being able to keep pace with other elite teams. Maybe a different coach comes in and wins one with the remnants of Urban's recruits like Tress did with Cooper's, but with the demographic changes I fear we'll be back to the Tressel days of winning the B1G but getting your teeth kicked in when teams of equal or more talent come calling. Right now that probably looks more appealing.I feel like an entitled prick when I say it, but i think Urbans won his last national title. Just doesn’t seem to have the energy anymore.
There is something about Urban that really bothers me. He doesn't look the same any more. He has that same look on his face when he was coaching at Florida the year before he retired. We don't know what is going thru Urbans mind right now. Hopefully he can right the ship with his staff and get some issues straightened out. If not then Ohio State could be in for a long season. Maybe all the issues that he had to deal with about Zach Smith are still with him and he is still bothered by it. To me there is something going on that none of us know about but, just can't quite put our finger on. He has to figure out a way to clear all these things from his head that could be bothering him. If he can't do that then health problems could persist and that is not a good thing.Urban Meyer will be fine. It is clear that he will come up with a strategy for the headaches only in the off-season. In a normal year, he might have taken a couple of games off early, but then you had all this crap at the start of the season. Rumors about his health will affect recruiting, so I suspect that is one of the reasons he persists.
This is one of the greatest college football coaches of all time and all coaches reach their time. Personally, I think his best day lies somewhere in the future. I'd put my money on him getting it right, but not if he refuses to take care of his health and remember the agreement he made with his family when he took this job.
