Ohio State fans will look back on the Urban Meyer era as the golden age of Ohio State football. I respect his decision. I believe that he may well coach again in a few years, but I think it is equally likely that he will honor his family with his time. God bless you, Urban Meyer, and well done!

For seven years I haven't been able to refer to TTUN as "UM" and now I have to worry about how I use the word "day".

I will fondly remember the positive impact Coach Meyer had on all of the teams he coached as head coach at OSU. The National Championship in 2014 and all the ass beatings on the ttun. Phenomenal job coach.

It sucks he was only here 7 years. But health concerns were the reason he was here in the first place. I doubt he leaves Florida without them. So 7 years is a plus.

Hayes, Tressel, Meyer. I'm guessing the fourth would be either Francis "Gold Pants" Schmidt, who shut out TFUN four years straight and created the Gold Pants, or Earl "Nine and three" Bruce.

Seems like just yesterday I was trying to wrap my head around the Tressel situation and dealing with one of the greatest coaches ever leaving Ohio State.

Yet, here we are once again. I can’t really even say much about it right now except...

Yep it sure is... we will see.

I tend to think it'll workout. Ryan Day has made our offense to another level and with UFM out of the way I tend to think we will be ultra aggressive. Also having coach Wilson is huge.

Who we bring in to run the defense is key though too.
