If, if, his health issues are getting as bad as some say they are, then football becomes secondary...

Yeah I tend to think his health is fine ... but you are correct health is concern #1

Unfortunately his health isn't fine and therein lies the problem.

In March of last year (2014), Meyer underwent a minor surgical procedure that involved the removal of fluid from a congenital arachnoid cyst. Health concerns prompted Meyer to briefly step down as Florida’s head coach in December of 2009, and played a role on some level in his permanent decision to leave his Gator post a year later.

Meyer had surgery to drain the cyst in March of 2014. The independent investigation before this season into Meyer's handling of former assistant Zach Smith revealed that Meyer takes medicine to deal with the headaches, and he said that medicine has caused memory issues at times. "I can just be truthful and tell you I've had some pretty heavy meds at times, but it certainly doesn't impact the way I coach."

And then there is the arachnoid cyst that puts pressure on the coach’s brain and sometimes causes the kind of headaches that dropped him to one knee on the sidelines during the Indiana game.
