Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

Originally I think he was probably just checking out and making an appearance at a restaurant/bar that he actually owns. You shouldn't be rude to your customers; however, maybe he had a few too many drinks and allowed it to go too far.
Exactly what I think... got a decent buzz and appreciated the attention. Then just didn't stop it no where close to soon enough.

The NFL and player(s) on the Jaguars all of a sudden care about seemingly consensus groping in a bar?

Do they prefer it stays on privately chartered hooker cruises?
A lot of NFL players enjoy hanging out in strip clubs. Some of them like to “make it rain.” None of them care about Urban playing a little grab-ass in a restaurant. As far as I know he spent the night in bed with his wife.

No coach in my memory is the lightning rod for criticism like Meyer. I’m not sure why. But it just is. Not fair.

I am truly worried for Urban. He appears to have a drinking problem and I am starting to believe he may have had it while at OsU. Ugh.

I think most people are missing the sanctimonious BS Urban spews as part of his biggest problem. I can see how others in the sports world don’t view him much different than a Dabo Swinney.

The guy has these high character rules and never seems to hold himself accountable to those same standards. That’s why he gets laughed at by paid athletes here.

Go out and drink and fraternize with ladies. Lane Kiffin and many others have gone that route unbothered. When you commit to “family” - including a contract with them in order to return to coaching and schmoozing local media for a look at your home, then get caught with another girl- you look bad.

Or when you commit to treating women with respect (no hitting), but ignore the closest guy you know because of how it reflects on you (and possibly what you did to cover it up) - you look bad. Credit to Urban on how he handled Hyde’s situation but it’s a lot easier punishing a college kid/mercenary.

Yeah agreed... for being a guy who wanted to run everything with an iron fist he's had a ton of disfunction at his last 3 stops. From his teams crazy behavior and personality at Florida, to his multiple health issues when everything gets difficult, to his questionable hires and now to this stuff.

He didn't need this and he shouldn't have attempted it.

Or that’s what makes him successful?

You don’t believe in Chaos Theory Urban Meyer? My theory, first formulated during the 2014 run, is that chaos doesn’t just follow Urban, it is Urban. He’s built from it; he feeds on it. His best teams are built from it. His best players have mostly thrived from it. The only explanation for Ohio State beating Bama (outside of Kiffin not riding Derrick Henry) is that Urban seized the chaos. OSU went down 21-6 and chaos ensued. Bama was probably the better coached team, and probably equally talented as the Buckeyes. Nick Saban eats an oatmeal creme pie at the same time everyday; I imagine Urban does whatever the opposite of that is.

Did he have an inner circle at Florida? Ya betcha. Did he have one at OSU? Dre’mont Jones didn’t hold back. In chaos lies opportunity. E + R = O = C for chaos. He’s got a formula. It works, for a period of time, until it blows up or until it settles down. If he can’t create chaos he bolts, if chaos can’t be channeled to success he bolts.

It’s not like he’s Steve Sarkisian.
Crazy that he went out there so blitzed he couldn't give a proper speech... If I'm too wasted I either A) stay at home or B) don't speak much and just be an observer.

Insane he went that crazy with it... but yeah I agree UFM ain't that.

Edit: okay I admitted or C) I tweet and get kicked off of BP for a day.
