University of Wisconsin football (59-0: Deal With It ... or Quit)

Before we think about a game against Wisconsin gotta look straight to this weekend. Still some unfinished business to take care of. We get a win this weekend and next weekend then I will think about this game. Hoping Coach Meyer is doing the same and not looking to Indy right now.

I'm a fan, I can look forward to anything without impacting anything. Let's not think we're more than we are on this site, spectators and supporters. With the "we" in there and your exuberant focus you must be a part of the team, in your case I agree focus on indiana.

Hoping Wisky wins out or the bucks may not get the needed bounce into the playoffs, I don't think Minny, Nebby, or anyone else do it.

No telling... committee didn't rate Nebraska to begin with, so not sure how much they'll bump Wisconsin for a quality win. Good news for both is that a *lot* of teams lost at the bottom of the 25... so Nebraska should still be ranked and that'll help a little, and the 4 teams ahead of Wiscy all lost so there's a lot of empty space ahead of them. The only team at threat of jumping them imo is GTech -- but given style points, don't see that happening.
The lowest they should be tomorrow is 16... depends how far Auburn and ASU fall and whether the committee wants to jump them over Arizona.

IF they win their next two games (Iowa, Minnesota)... they'll probably be just outside the top10. But wouldn't surprise me if they split those games.

I think rooting interests have also just changed from Nebraska to Minnesota. If Minny beats Neb and loses to Wiscy, they have a good chance of sneaking into the last polls of the regular season.

If the Huskers lose that game by two scores, they're still ranked.

But seeing as how the plunger was inserted early (and often), there's no way in hell they're ranked tomorrow.

Still ranked in the other two polls, and still a 2-loss team.
Granted the other polls have consistently valued Nebraska higher than the playoff committee... but again, the biggest thinking working for Nebraska is that

LSU, Notre Dame, Duke, Clemson, Aggy, and Minnesota all lost.
Whose going to take Nebraska's place? The AP and Coaches couldn't even find enough teams to replace all of those... and Nebraska is ranked higher than all of them coming into this week.

None of them gave up an NCAA record in yards rushing to one guy.

Wisky concerns me more because of the size of both lines, the fact that Stave can actually pass and two good running backs - one outstanding. But their receivers are nothing special, unlike the Abrakadabra years.

So it's the line play and running of Wisky that has me most concerned, especially since no one confuses the current set of OSU linebackers with Hawk, Carpenter and Schlegel, or even Rolle and Shazier. But they do seem to be getting more involved each week and McMillan gives the team something to build around next year.
